M-14 Maria

This is Maria. Maria is a modified M-14 rifle used by a "Sci-Fi/Noir" version of my longstanding gunslinger Alasdair Zingari. In this version Alasdair's forgone the nifty mutant abilities, dual SMGs, and affiliation with S.H.I.E.L.D. to be a more classical gun for hire.

Maria here is one of his favorite ladies. He takes her out when he needs to be discrete, and needs to not make a mess or when he just needs to reach out and touch someone. She's built from a standard M-14, and touched up by Alasdair, who's a man for details.

She still fires the standard 7.62x51 mm NATO rounds from a 20 round box mag, but Alasdair also uses hand tooled custom rounds with additional propellant, magnums if you will. The bodies also been customized, with a top mounted rail for mounting a large custom scope. The scope, combined with Alasdair's skills allows him to tap people on the shoulder out past 800 meters.

She's a very capable girl.
